Vivo City - A day at the mall

Just one of the days to hide from the hot weather, it is to stay cool in air conditioned mall...lol.

Vivo City is one of my favourite place for shopping and meeting up with friends.

The mall is very big and it really attracted a lot of people with so many different promotions and events going on in the mall.

A treasure hunt is going on in the mall. 30 teams will looked around the mall trying to find some treasures and also do some challenges. The prizes are quite attractive.

School is out and kids are out to play. These balloons are really attracting the younger kids.

Vivo City - Exhibition

These advertisements had appeared in newspapers, televisions and in public places. Now there's an award for the best advertisments that's creative and that captured the viewers.

Viewers can also participate and choose the best advertisments.

Skywatch Friday - Bugis Junction

As mentioned, Bugis Junction was converted from old shophouses. A glass roof was added to connect the shophouses and the best thing was whenever it rained, shoppers wont get wet walking around the streets. The streets are now tiled beautifully. You wont noticed that it was once a street.

Part of the Intercontinental was converted from shophouses too. The taller building of the hotel was added.

My grandparents used to stay in these old shophouses in another district. They too had similar windows like the above photo of the old shophouses.

Bugis Junction

Finally I made another trip to Bugis Junction. We are so spoilt with so many choices with so many shopping malls in shopping paradise Singapore...lol. It could take me months before I revisit the same mall.

Bugis Junction is originally some old shophouses but now converted to a shopping mall. You can view my older post on Bugis Junction. There are some very cozy and nice restaurants at Bugis Junction where we could eat our food and enjoyed chatting with friends or just watch the day goes by.

Bugis Junction is famous for these little kiosks which sold very cute stuffs and souvenirs.

My World Tuesday - Kids just want to have fun

Kids just wanna have fun. These kids dont mind getting wet and played in the fountain.
The fountain is located at Bugis Junction. Singapore is a shopping paradise with hundreds of shopping malls and new malls opening every now and then. So it will take a long time before I revisit the same mall. I love to vist new malls with my girlfriends and sometimes we just meet up and try the food at the new eateries at the new malls and catching up with each other.
